Delivery project management for consultants and small teams
For programme and project managers, transformation leads and implementation consultants. A defined piece of work with a start, an end and a lot in between. Plan it in phases, run it from one place, and keep the client in the loop without another status email.
Runs on every plan · Client portal and published status updates from business pro

What you get
Pick “Delivery / transformation project” and this is set up for you
When you create a project, Ambital asks what it's for. The answer sets the billing model, the phases and the tabs. Change any of it, or save your own version as a template.

How it runs
Delivery projects, run through Ambital
Plan it in phases, then track it on the Gantt
Discovery, design, build, test, go-live. Phases hold sections and tasks, and the Gantt draws itself from them. Roll each phase up to see the whole plan, or open it out to see every task.

A status update the client actually reads
Ambi drafts it from the project's own data on the schedule you choose. You check it, publish it to the portal, and the client replies in the thread. Link a Slack channel and it lands there too.

Risks, decisions and change requests, on the record
A RAID log the client can see, decisions with who decided what and why, and change requests that log the cost against the fee before the work starts.

Delivery projects questions
Straight answers
- Do I still need a separate project planning tool?
- For a consultant or small team running client projects, usually not. Phases, Gantt, milestones and a RAID log are built in, and Ambital also runs the business around the project: time, invoices, forecast and pipeline.
- Can the client see the plan?
- Yes, once the client portal is on. You choose which phases, tasks and risks show in their portal.
- Can I bill in milestones?
- Yes, on every plan: a deposit, milestone invoices, or a fixed fee split across phases.
- Which plan do I need?
- Every plan can run it, including Free. Most people choose Business Pro at £79 a month for client portal and published status updates. Prices exclude VAT.
