Outreach and newsletters

Your Mailchimp audiences and campaign results, read from inside Ambital.

Business plan and above

Business → Outreach brings your email marketing's results into the same place as the rest of your business numbers, via Mailchimp. It's a reporting surface — Ambital reads your audiences and campaign performance; you still design and send campaigns in Mailchimp itself.

Connecting Mailchimp

Connect from Outreach (or Settings → Integrations) using a Mailchimp API key. Two things worth knowing:

  • Multiple accounts — connect more than one Mailchimp account side by side.
  • Client-owned accounts — if you run a client's newsletter for them, mark that connection as owned by the client company. Their reporting stays labelled as theirs, separate from your own list.

What you can see

  • Audiences — list sizes, growth, tags, and a browsable contacts view.
  • Filter by tag or segment — audience cards show tag chips (teal) and saved-segment chips (purple); click either to open that slice of contacts. In the contacts view, the tag and segment dropdowns next to the audience name switch or clear the slice in place (Mailchimp filters by one at a time, so picking a segment clears the tag and vice versa). In the campaigns list, the tag and segment dropdowns show only campaigns that were sent to that tag or segment; Whole audience only shows the sends that went to everyone.
  • Campaigns — sends, open and click performance, per campaign and over time.

Because it sits inside Ambital, your marketing effort and its results live next to the pipeline it's supposed to feed — one fewer dashboard to remember to check.

What Ambital won't do

Ambital deliberately doesn't send marketing email on your behalf, and unsubscribes are honoured at the Mailchimp level like always — connecting Ambital changes nothing about your compliance posture.

Note: Outreach needs the Business plan or above. See the Integrations overview for everything else Ambital connects to.

Where this fits

Part of how Ambital runs marketing campaigns and social media management. Each page shows how the project is set up, what it looks like, and the integrations that fit.
