Google Workspace

Calendar, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides — each toggled per connected account.

Connecting Google brings your working day into Ambital: meetings appear on the calendar and route to projects, and client email threads land on the project they belong to — so a project's story is in one place, not three tabs.

Connecting

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on the Google card.
  2. Sign in with Google and approve the access. You're brought straight back to Ambital.

Each connected account has per-service toggles — Calendar, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides can be switched on independently, so a personal account can share just its calendar while your work account shares everything.

You can connect more than one account. Your plan sets one combined cap on connected email accounts across Google and Microsoft 365: 2 Free / 3 Pro / 5 Business / 10 Business Pro.

During the beta: Google shows an "unverified app" warning while our verification is in progress, and you may be asked to re-approve access weekly. That's Google's process, not a fault — click Advanced → Continue.

Calendar sync

Ambital reads your primary Google calendar and syncs it on a schedule throughout the day. Events show on the Calendar page and route to projects by your rules; recurring series can carry a standing rule. See Calendar, meetings and meeting notes.

Email sync

Email routes per project — domain rules, subject keywords, label filters, and a sync-all catch-all for dedicated mailboxes. The full mechanics: Routing emails and meetings.

If sync seems stale

New items take a little while; a genuinely stopped connection shows on its card and flags the bell. Work down Sync and connection problems.

Where this fits

Part of how Ambital runs interim and embedded roles. Each page shows how the project is set up, what it looks like, and the integrations that fit.
