Meeting notetakers
Transcripts, summaries and action items from your notetaker, filed on the right projects.
If a notetaker app joins your calls, Ambital can bring what it captures — transcripts, summaries and action items — into the project record, so "what did we agree in March?" is a scroll rather than an excavation.
Connecting
Go to Settings → Integrations — the panel shows the notetakers currently supported (with more on the way). Connection is per account, typically with the API key from your notetaker's settings, and the card walks you through where to find it.
What comes in
- Transcripts with summaries and action items, appearing on the Meeting Notes page.
- Meeting matching: notes attach to their calendar meeting, and follow that meeting's project routing — a meeting routed to Project X brings its transcript along. See Routing emails and meetings.
- Anything the rules can't place waits in Meeting Notes for a one-click assign — or a dismiss, for calls that don't belong in Ambital at all.
Working with notes
From Meeting Notes you review, assign and read everything in one place; assigned notes appear on their project alongside its tasks, emails and time.
If notes stop arriving
Check the notetaker's card under Settings → Integrations — an expired or revoked API key shows there, and re-entering a fresh key resumes the sync. The general checklist is in Sync and connection problems.
Note: meeting notes and transcript sync need the Pro plan or above.
Where this fits
Part of how Ambital runs advisory and coaching retainers. Each page shows how the project is set up, what it looks like, and the integrations that fit.
